Qantas concludes Boeing 747 farewell flights International Flight Network

The airline plans to retire the last of its Boeing 747s by the end of 2020, after 49 years. As a way to celebrate the retirement of its last 747-400 powered by Rolls Royce engines (registration VH-OJU), Qantas scheduled a special "Points Plane" charter flight from Sydney (SYD) to Los Angeles (LAX).
